HWg-WLD Relay indicates a water leak or flood anywhere along the length of the connected sensing cable (up to 85m – 280ft). The sensing cable can be laid along water pipes, walls, or under windows. Water or other liquid anywhere along the entire length of the sensing cable triggers a relay.

To detect water leaks or floods, HWg-WLD Relay uses the “WLD sensing cable A” in lengths of 0.4m to 85m (1.3ft to 280ft). 2m sensing cable is included. The moisture-absorbing sensing cable detects even the smallest volume of water, ethylene glycol, or other conductive liquid.

The sensing cable can be extended with a 2-wire cable by up to 100m (330ft), making the total length 185m (610ft). The extension cable can even be connected between segments of the sensing cable.

Relay activation indicates a water leak or a disconnected sensing cable. The sensor can be directly connected to Poseidon units over th 1-Wire UNI bus (RJ11).
